How to set up a custom domain

Setting up a custom domain with ThePost is straightforward and takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to connect your domain and start sending emails from your own address.

Step 1: Add your domain

Log in to your ThePost account and navigate to Settings → Domains → Add Domain. Enter your domain name (e.g., company.com) and click "Add Domain".

Step 2: Configure DNS records

You'll need to add three DNS records to your domain registrar:

DNS propagation can take up to 24 hours, but typically completes within 5-10 minutes. You can check the status in your domain settings.

Step 3: Verify and activate

Once your DNS records are configured, click "Verify" in the domain settings. ThePost will automatically check your records and activate your domain. You'll receive a confirmation email once the domain is ready.
